Dr. Godfrey earned his dental degree with honors from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. While there, his research on antibiotic therapy during endodontic emergencies was presented at the American Dental Association's annual conference in Orlando, Florida.

He then completed his post-graduate endodontic residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. During his specialty training, he researched the cutting efficiency of various ultrasonic tips. This work was published in the Journal of Endodontics and presented at the American Association of Endodontists' annual conference in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Outside the office, Dr. Godfrey and his wife are the proud parents of six children. He loves spending time with his family, playing sports, and enjoying the outdoors. He is also a proud Guinness World Record holder—but you will have to check out the official certificate hanging in his waiting room to find out what bizarre feat landed him in the record books!
